It is a double insulated kiln with 2 ½" of premium firebrick plus 1" of block insulation. This double insulation saves approximately 30% in electricity costs and the jacket remains cooler.

The perfectly designed Kanthal A-1 elements allow it to fire to come 10 with ease and the unique floor element ensures an even firing.
